Sweeeeet!
I’ve been putting off doing my taxes for so long. I’m not too sure why but a big reason was lack of time. I finally had an entire day off yesterday ( that hasn’t happened for over 3 weeks ) and went along St Claire to shop at some local butchers to find ingredients for last night’s dinner.
I passed by a single door which ” We do all taxes ” which was great since I had already passed by another place and they claimed that my taxes were too complicated for them. Umm really? I literally only had 2 pieces of paper. My T4 from work and one single sheet from my school stating my tuition. How on earth is that difficult?
Anyways, I was right at the front door but decided to call the number just to make sure they took walk-ins. Once I got in, this woman was so incredibly sweet. Usually people always associate taxes with being a pain in the ass…. This woman knew her shit and made you feel comfortable too. It took her 10 minutes to process everything and I got a return of $830. WOOOOO!
She also mentioned that I was eligible for a $23 monthly cheque from the government for …. ( can’t remember ) and that my previous tax people should have informed me of that years ago. I’ve been missing out on an extra $276 a year due to these asswipes who are not thorough with their work. I also told her that no one has explained to me what receipts I should be keeping and be throwing out because I’ve never kept any of them. She informed me that now that I am a spa therapist If I do any freelance work of my own that I can claim my cellphone, ttc tokens, some of my clothing etc. God I love her <3 hahah.
Finally when it came time to pay her fee for her work, It was originally $39 but she says she’s got a soft spot for students so she charged me $33.
$33 for all of her work??? I’ll pay that EVER YEAR.
I’ve been paying $50 every single year to do my taxes and have had to deal with idiots who claim they know their stuff taxes but don’t do shit.
Conclusion: I’m going shopping & saving up for our dream home :)
Went for an Interview today for an Esthetics position. It went quite well and I’m going in again this Sunday for a trial day. I’ve got 4 60 minute massages booked so far. So crazy!
I’m really hoping to get this so I can kick start my career before I’ve even finished school. I’ll officially be done on the 29th of this month. I’m soooooo excited to finish school. Fuck man. It’s been going on for too damn long ( which is totally my fault, but still )
This place is BEAUTIFUL! So relaxing, professional, and zen like. The only downfall is it takes me 1.5 hours to get there from home & that’s in the summer. Imagine in the winter with piles of snow everywhere and the transit system running much slower due to the weather conditions. I’ll probably have to leave my house 2-2.5 hours before my shifts start. Fuck!
Oh well, I’m really hoping this trial goes well on Sunday.

I have a Wedding to attend tomorrow morning at 10am.
I swear I have never heard of weddings on Friday mornings but I absolutely love the Bride so I honestly wouldn’t care if the thing started at 7am.

I’ve packed everything I need for tonight and tomorrow in a wheelie suitcase that I used in school. Dress, heels, makeup, wedding gift/card, tons of hairspray, extra undies, curler, nail polish, nail polish remover, razor, cream. God, I feel like I’m going on a vacation.
I’m really only sleeping over my boyfriend’s house for tonight and heading over to the ceremony in the morning and then back to Toronto to my boo boo once again <3
Aside from instagram, I haven’t used any other kind of social media site in a while. I miss you guys

Well, the editing of the video took me about 15 minutes. Wayyyyy less then I thought it would take. Now, It’s exporting and will apparently take 5 hours TO FUCKING export from iMovie to my desktop :| and then God knows how long from that to Youtube.
